Betfair 20p Roulette
Betfair casino has a very unique roulette game. Its called Zero Roulette but really it should be called “Betfair No Zero Roulette”. The table has no zero on it.
- Play Live Roulette online for real money on Betfair Casino For the smallest possible house edge in Roulette, be sure to try out Playtech's Live Single Zero Roulette and French Roulette tables. With only a single green zero on the wheel rather than two zeros like American Roulette, you're reducing the edge in favour of you, the player.

Betfair offer some nice bonuses on their live & virtual roulette games. Or, try the offer at Betway Live Casino, for example. High rollers might like Premier Roulette Diamond or 3D roulette from Playtech. And those who like to hedge their bets or play single numbers might want to try Multi Wheel Roulette. Best Roulette Offers at Roulette17. The minimum bet on Betfair Roulette has also been reduced to just ten pence (down from 50)- the activity on the tables has increased, and people are playing for longer. The roulette spread (betting range) is now £0.10 to £200- on of the widest you’ll come across on the market. Betfair Has: High Speed Live Roulette Tables. PPB Counterparty Services Limited, Betfair Casino Limited, PPB Entertainment Limited and TSE Malta LP are licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account numbers 39439, 39435, 39426 and 39561.
With no zero, the house has no edge at all. This game of roulette is perfectly fair. No other casino I know of does this without any strings. There is another one but that charges you 10% of your winnings so its no fair.
Why do Befair do this? I have no idea. I am guessing its just a marketing gimmick. Why play on even French Roulette with the 1.35% edge when you can get zero edge roulette at Betfair?
Whats the catch?
There are a few minor downsides though.
- Its only available in their download casino. You can’t play it on their instant flash casino.
- Even with no edge, you are more likely to lose than the casino is overall. How can this be when its fair? Well, its to do with the likely hood of bankruptcy. It would be impossible to bankrupt the casino but unless you have an unlimited bankroll you are are going to go bankrupt at some point.
- Limits are not very high. Normal Betfair roulette has huge limits ranging from 50p up to £10000 but the zero roulette has small limits. The table below show the limits.
Bet | Pays | Min Bet | Max Bet |
Straight up/ Single Number | 35:1 | £0.10/ 10p/ 10c | £1 |
Split | 17:1 | £0.10/ 10p/ 10c | £2 |
Street | 11:1 | £0.10/ 10p/ 10c | £3 |
Corner | 8:1 | £0.10/ 10p/ 10c | £4 |
Line | 5:1 | £0.10/ 10p/ 10c | £6 |
Column/ Dozen | 2:1 | £0.10/ 10p/ 10c | £10 |
Red / Black Even / Odd lo / hi | 1:1 | £0.10/ 10p/ 10c | £20 |
Remember Zero Roulette is only available in the download casino and counts zero to the bonus requirements.
You can still play great roulette games at Betfair but no longer zero roulette.
They have a nice range of virtual roulette (Playtech roulette for the most part, plenty of variants including our favourite Premium Roulette, but also with Frankie Dettori, Mini Roulette and 20p Roulette).
- Well known, trustworthy gaming brand
- One of the widest selection of live roulette games out there
- Live games from Playtech and Evolution
- Low level first time player’s bonus
- Playtech heavy
Online Roulette Games
The only thing we would say against the casino over at Betfair is that they could probably trim down the amount of variants they offer. On the other hand, they have quite few games that are exclusive to this casino. One thing is for sure: if you are after choice, you will get it here
Live Roulette
You can play live roulette online here: the Betfair Casino live games section has a good selection of tables for those of you who prefer to play on a real wheel over a webcam including their Speed Roulette game. Just follow the Live Casino links.
Mobile Roulette
One of the things that Betfair does very well, like many of the sportsbook operators, is mobile. Head to their mobile casino and you’ll find a big range of games for smaller screens including Premium European, Penny Roulette and the newer Age of the Gods roulette plus all of the live dealer games from Playtech and Evolution.
The newer Playtech games have been upgraded – you can now play them in landscape and portrait mode (head to our free mobile roulette games page to test them out or watch our video clip that showcases this game- it looks superb on a mobile).
Small stakes players will love 20p Roulette- where you can bet on a European Roulette wheel with low stakes. Bet limits go up if you feel like playing for higher stakes, or head to Roulette Deluxe: the High Roller game.
This is a player friendly variant that will allow you to play low risk roulette. We often use this game to test out systems rather than playing on free demo games. It allows us to bet on a big number of spins while keeping our risk down, but it adds a bit of spice to the proceedings!
Age of the Gods Roulette
The Age of Gods roulette game taps in to the Age of Gods progressive jackpot that replaced the old Marvel progressive jackpot. There are 4 progressive jackpots that can be won on any spin. You’ll need to place a side bet on the Age of Gods Bonus. If the ball lands on this bonus, you’ll be taken to a separate side game where you can play for the big jackpot.
You will be taken to a 3-reel slot mini-game where you’ll get 3 spins at the same bet as you spun the wheel with and pay-outs of 5x to 100x up for grabs.
One of 4 Age Of The Gods jackpots can also be won randomly on any spin.
Paypal Roulette
Betfair Casino accepts Paypal, as well as credit and debit cards, Neteller, Skrill, ClickandBuy, Western Union and Bank Transfer.
